SodaTide's Ingredients, Explained
Updated 2026
SodaTide is a synbiotic — prebiotics plus probiotics. Here's a plain-English guide to the formula, with the doses it prints and the one number it doesn't.
The prebiotic fibers
Chicory root inulin (211mg) and potato resistant starch (100mg) are fermentable fibers that feed beneficial gut bacteria and can add to a feeling of fullness. Credit to SodaTide for printing these amounts.
The probiotic blend
A 36mg blend of Bifidobacterium infantis, Clostridium butyricum and Akkermansia muciniphila — strains studied for gut-barrier and microbiome roles, with Akkermansia an emerging name in metabolic-health research.
The number that's missing
There's no CFU (live-cell) count. For probiotics, that's the figure that most determines potency, and its absence means you can't compare SodaTide's strength to research doses or to other brands. It's the single biggest gap in the formula.
And the doses in context
The fibers sit well below the multi-gram amounts used in inulin research, so this is gentle support, not a high-dose fiber product. And remember: some marketplace listings show a different formula — read the panel on your official bottle.
